Meeting Uncle Jonny and Auntie Sarah

My daughter, Tif and her husband, Ed are in Waikiki right now while Art and I have the very precious opportunity to babysit. KC is keeping us quite busy.

Yesterday, KC had some serious water play and then we went to the airport to pick up her Uncle Jonny and Auntie Sarah. She knew just which lei to give each person but when the moment came, she got flustered and handed the wrong "necklace." However, tonight she saw the kukui nut lei and correctly said, "That Unca Jonny neckas." Sarah received a puka shell lei which she is holding in her hand.

Sarah quickly became a favorite and Jon says he knows now how I must feel with KC always asking for grandpa.

Tonight, Jon and Tif are spending time with their cousins. I love it.

Great family moments. I tend to take my daughters for granted, since they both live on Oahu.

Being on the receiving end of being a grandpa is a good feeling. KC looks like a doll baby having fun and grandpa is too.

Isn't it wondeful when the family gathers....particularly when you have a grandchild.
Love seeing your picture of Jon and Sarah. Jon get's even more handsome the older he gets!
KC is getting so big, she is like a little girl not a baby anymore!
Have a wonderful time with all of them! It goes by so fast!

You must be absolutely delighted to have your family all under one roof! I loved the photo of KC and her water play...didn't she have fun last visit doing the same? How children love the simple things in life!

This sounds like so much fun, glad to be able to share in it. Feels like I'm there with you guys, I can just see KC with the "neckas-es". that's just too too cute.

It is always interesting how the babies gravitate to one person over amother, makes me wonder..."what are they thinking, what could be going through their little minds?"

Oh, yes! Family time is indeed the best! And on the first of August my youngest daughter and my oldest son will arrive! What a birthday I will have this year! Then the middle of August I fly to Houston for a reunion with cousins. Good times for all of us and isn't it wonderful!
Enjoy it all, Kay, you and Art, KC and all the rest of your family!
