Dessert for Mom

I read Mare's blog, Zoaring With Glinda yesterday. She wrote about getting her 98 year old mom mini ice cream cones in the middle of the night. It got me thinking after dinner that my mom would love to have some ice cream, too.

We went to Costco this evening to do a little shopping and picked up their frozen yogurt. Mom loved it! As a matter of fact, I loved it. Maybe it wasn't the healthiest thing, but hey! It was calcium.

And it was fun!

I am such a sucker for ice cream!!! Yeah, the REAL stuff is loaded with calories, so when we go to Costco every Friday, we buy 2 boxes of Fudge Bars and 2 boxes of Dole Juice Bars. Both are frozen treats, but have fewer calories than regular ice cream. Love it all!!!

Your mom is a real cutie. Looks like she'd be easy to love. I'd give here anything she wanted just to see that smile.

Kay;

Your Mom looks so tickled. Seeing your Mom brought back memories of my Mom's smile when she was feeling well and was just plain happy.
Thanks Kay for your wonderful, kind support during this sad time for me. Always there always nurturing, always giving love.
Thank you so again. My love to Art and your Mom too!

I also have the sony player and had to figure out the same problem.
My router co. walked me through it but it was no picnic. So nice to have your own techy expert on call.

frozen yogurt is pretty healthy, I think. I've been having the real ice cream cones from McDonald's, oops.

Kay, I probably shouldn't point this out, but that serving your mama is holding isn't a mini. Honest.

Amoeba loves his ice cream. I give it to him about 2-3 tablespoons at a time over fresh fruit. Big taste, mini serving.

A lovely picture of your Mom Kay. She has such a pretty smile. There's an old English saying, "A little bit of what you fancy does you good." :)
