Outlet Mall Shopping

Sunday was such a gorgeous, sunny day that Tiffany suggested we go to the Wisconsin Outlet Mall. (This is after she and Art ran the 5K Bucktown Race.)

Well, I'm always game for going to any Outlet Mall and this one in Wisconsin is my favorite.

Tiffany loves to see just how good a deal she can get.  What the heck!  So do I!  I don't know where she gets it, but she had a handful of $5.00 off coupons.  Granted, this can make me buy something that I don't really truly need in stores I don't always frequent.

Art and I had gone off by ourselves and I found these two long sleeve blouses which I'll leave in Illinois.  They were $19.00 down to $9.99 at Eddie Bauer.  I happen to like Eddie Bauer things.

I thought this was a pretty darn good deal until Tif insisted we go to the Van Heusen store because she had a $5.00 off coupon.  "I don't need another blouse,"  I insisted.

"Mom," Tiffany raised one eyebrow.  "When have I steered you wrong?"

Well, she found this $46.00 blouse (the purple ruffly one), down 70%, minus the $5.00 off coupon and I had to pay just $10.16.  And you know what?  I really like it!  I'd like to bring it home to Hawaii, but I'll keep it in Illinois also.  I don't have much use for long sleeves in Hawaii.

Well... it was certainly a successful shopping expedition for everybody, but I need to get to sleep.  I'm still not perfect.  I'm able to get some sleep, but I'm waking up at 3:30 AM.  I don't understand why.  Sighhhh...

  4. It's a pretty blouse and I'm sure it looks good on you. Here in the PNW, I don't have much use for short sleeves or sleeveless blouses! They are used for maybe a week or two, then back to long sleeves. These look to be three-quarter sleeves to me.

  9. You seem to like purple. Good buys! I haven't purchased a blouse in over a century, preferring to wear long muumuus. LOL. But you knew that already...

  14. I really like the top you found. I have been looking for something similar with long sleeves. I should have stopped at the outlet mall on my way home from Denver day before yesterday. I was tempted. I guess I needed a super shopper like Tiffany with me.

What fun to go shopping with your daughter.
And that is such a pretty time of year where you are. I remember that well from living there for five years. I love your banner photo of the fall colors.
