A Taste of Hawaii 5-0

A couple of weeks ago our friend brought us a couple of papayas.  He works on the Hawaii 5-0 production crew setting up various stages for their scenes.  It never occurred to me that they have to create these backgrounds and then dispose of what they use later.

We had such fun seeing the recent 5-0 show where Scott Caan's father, James Caan had a cute part. It was even more fun seeing those papayas.  Ahaaaa...

Just think, we may have eaten the papayas that Alex O'Loughlin or Scott Caan touched.  Is this amazing, or what?

  7. Cute...the papayas were $4 a half at fancy restaurants; they were about $1 for a whole one at the local's grocery store; even the ABC store had some pretty cheap, but those "famous papayas" from the TV set should at least have an autograph on them....DrumMajor

  13. I like the show and I find myself occasionally thinking about you and wondering how many of those locations you see as you go about a regular life. (One not filled with car sirens, foot chases, or shootings.)

  17. Oh I missed the episode with James Caan. That would have been a good one. For some reason I've been missing the show lately.

  18. I think those papayas came from my father's company! He also provided them for an episode of "Lost"(they were the ones Hurley drove his car through). Anyway, I've been looking for the 5-0 episode that the payapas showed up in, and am so glad to have found your blog!

    Thank you!
