Sign of the Future?

We were at Costco and were surprised to see these signs on the wall in front of two parking spaces.

I didn't see any outlets there, but maybe they're planning to install something?  I haven't seen many electric cars tooling around the island but maybe Costco knows something we don't.

When we were leaving Costco, I saw an SUV parked in one of the spaces.  Do you suppose they make electric SUVs now?

  1. Interesting Kay. And wonder if the SUV read the sign?

  2. I have never seen these before. It's strange. why would they be giving them preferences anyway? what are Costco going to be selling cars next, lol. When you find out some more let us know Kay as I guess the rest of us will be following behind soon enough.

  4. I have seen a few of those signs around here and the Walgreens near us has a charging station.....but I never see either the parking spaces or the charging stations being used.

  8. Perhaps that's where they have their charging stations and cars can be charging while the owners shop.

  10. There is an electric car charging station in the parking lot outside the soccer/football stadium. I don't know what happens when there are lots of electric cars though.
If the SUV is big enough and expensive enough, they don't follow signs. They do whatever they want, kind of the bully on the road.
