A Robin

Finally! It's my first robin of the season. I'm appreciating him (or her) more now that we're moving to Hawaii where there are no robins, only the mynah, bulbul and finches who are driving my poor mom crazy by eating her orchid and lemon buds.

  1. You have bulbuls in Hawaii??
Some are now voting to make the bulbul Israel's national bird.
(But here you can hardly say the word with a straight face because it is kids' slang for a boy's private part.)
    Welcome the robin!

  2. We never had bulbul's before when I was growing up in Hawaii. They are a horrible nuisance now. National bird? Oh dear!

I really LOVE hearing from you! However, if you sign in as ANONYMOUS, please don't forget to tell me who you are in the comment box by just writing your first name. We would all appreciate it if you kept your comment respectful and kind.

I’m using Comment Moderation for any post that is more than a day old because of aggravating SPAM. Therefore, if your comment does not go up on an older (more than a day old) post, it's because I need to OK it first. I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.
