I Have Met the Enemy and It's Me!

Remember that saying from Pogo? Well, I've been really mindful of when Kapaa, Kauai comes on and it's so exact to when I'm coming on. It occured to me that I could check the option for the tracker not to recognize me. I'd done it before but I think you have to do it all the time. I did it again and I'm watching and Kapaa, Kauai does not come on. Well what do you know? I think it's Me. The tracking station thing must be on Kauai!!! Arrrrghhhhh!

  1. Oh, I do empathize! If I'm having trouble with anything, the real source of the problem is usually me!!

  2. Believe it or not, I was going to ask if it might possibly be yourself, but I didn't know the technical terminology well enough to even suggest it COULD be you! Glad the mystery is solved, anyway.

    That is absolutely hilarious!!
And somewhat of a relief to find out that dark figure following you everywhere you go is only your shadow, eh?

I'm going to start giggling about 9:30 tonight, and it's going to be because I just thought about this post again. It's sooooo funny!

  6. Kay, this is so so funny! You are such a funny lady! The same thing happened to me. First, I thought, who is this. When I found out it was me, I thought the same as you - I'm stalking myself. Hahahahahah. So glad I found out how to turn it off.

  8. This is funny Kay! Almost like my cat when I put her in front of the mirror, she hissst, growled, and complained for a few minutes. Then when she realized it was her she purred.

I've done this myself though on my site meter. You are not alone!

  10. Kay..I used to have that tracker, but I read an article on privacy and then looked at the info at the site. They collect and use that information of visitors by putting a tracking cookie on the visitors web site. They also own the right to any information they obtain that way so I took mine off.

  11. I don't know what to do. A lot of people have this widget or whatever you call it and I'm so addicted to it. Sigh...

  13. Hi. I'm catching up on my blog reading. I read your last post first, thinking " I bet it's her".

Sure enough, it is. Very funny. But also interesting to know that the tracking is not exact. It explains some tracking results I'm getting.

Therefore, if your comment does not go up on an older (more than a day old) post, it's because I need to OK it first. I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.
