Blog Hiatus

I thought I could continue to write posts, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to take my first blog hiatus in 3 + years after all.  There's just too much going on that demands my entire attention and on top of that I've caught a miserable cold when I really can't afford to be sick.

Our children are all here with their families and there's something going on every single day.

The above hibiscus photo was taken by our very good photographer friend, Dave Au.  He'll also be taking our family photo since it's been five years since we've all been together.

This was our 2009 photo that Dave took of us when we were last together.

Time has passed so quickly and so will my hiatus.

I shall look forward to returning with posts about our trip to Hokkaido and our family happenings.

Till then.... aloha and may the sun shine wherever you are.

  18. Once Art get's those trees going, they won't take quite so much attention. Please take care of yourself. It won't do any good to over do especially with your family there. Hugs from here.

  19. Time with the whole family together is the best reason for a blog break. Enjoy every second of it all while you can and then tell us about it when things calm down.

  27. Have a lovely time, enjoy your bloggie break, and your photos are beautiful, as always. Make some memories! (Zinc lozenges are good for sending away cold symptoms...but it makes your mouth and food taste like metal after a couple of them.....check with your NP....)

  34. I know you are having a wonderful sojourn with your family during this time. It is so much effort to take care of small children and write a blog! Although we had so much fun with our grandchildren, I am grateful that our two weeks are all done and I can rest now and get back to the rhythms and routines of my life. See you here soon.

I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.
