During that week between Tif's birthday and their trip to Paris, I got sick... very sick. It was worrying all of us because I needed to be in tip top shape to enjoy our special week with KC.
I had to postpone outings with friends and spent 4 days in bed exhausted and feverish. Tiffany insisted I stay in bed and provided me with this cool pack.
It's what she uses for KC when she's ill and it's terrific!
It sticks to your head and stays cool for hours. I loved it!
Thank goodness! I did recover in time and we were able to send Tif and Ed off, confident that we would be having a good time too.

You look like a kid yourself in that picture! Glad you got better quickly. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Kay! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a "cool" idea. Glad you got better, just in time, Kay.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I can use that here in the desert next time we have a heat wave? :)
Being sick is never fun. I'm glad you recovered for your time with KC--and I'll bet she was too!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a while to be cooped up and in bed, my friend. Have a really special Thanksgiving Day.
ReplyDeleteSo very sorry you got that sick. You even look sick. Glad the cool pack worked. Gosh.
ReplyDeleteNasty - but thankfully soon over.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got over it and were looked after.
ReplyDeleteSick stinks! It seems you passed the time profitably!
ReplyDeleteNice to have family to take care of you when you were sick. I bet the little ice pack felt really good.
ReplyDeletenever heard of it before
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I was sick enough to run a fever. So glad you recovered in time, and did not spread your germs to the travelers.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to remember those cool packs for the grands.
Oh Kay, so glad you got better in time!
ReplyDeletePoor thing! Me, too!
