Art and I are forever taking photos of the skies. We do have some beautiful skies in Hawaii.
Art takes photos of the sunrise since he's up early doing his morning walks. He's always up at least a couple of hours before me.
I stick to the sunsets although who knows? Someday I might surprise him and take a photo of the sunrise as well.
The skies are different every night and like the rainbows we marvel at, they don't last very long. Therefore we have to enjoy it all while we can.

Awesome skies, and you get good views of them too.
ReplyDeleteWe get incredible sunsets here from out 11th floor apartment. Never think to take a photo though. Yours are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI don’t see many sunrises either, beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteYou do have beautiful skies! We've too many trees.
ReplyDeleteJust perfeect things. Thankk you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I've chosen my Hawaii hotel rooms based on whether I can directly see the sunsets and on the beach. It's an amazing world for calming sunsets on your Islands.
ReplyDeleteBut sunrise on Maui's Haleakala is like attending church: standing above the cloud line, watching the sun rise below the clouds, then through and above them. Wonderful views in Hawaii! Linda in Kansas
Those are awesome captures. The first one is both beautiful and scary at the same time.
ReplyDeletethat's true and if you stay inside all the time you don't notice the beauty outside!
ReplyDeleteNice skies
ReplyDeleteEvery day Oahu's skies sing to me! So grateful to be home 🙏❤️
ReplyDeleteI have a friend living on the North Shore of Oahu who posts some lovley skie almost making me wish I lived there. But it would be too far from family.
ReplyDeleteSunrise and sunset are notorious for having to be there right at the exact moment to capture their beauty. Well done on these two. :-)
ReplyDeleteTotally, totally true.
ReplyDeleteI love to watch sunrises and sunset too, but unfortunately we now have a very limited view of either.
ReplyDeleteGood work for the good of the community. Art is a good guy.
