I'm so happy with this little white cellphone stand that I had to share it with you.
There are evenings when I'm charging my phone behind me while I'm on the computer and I'd have to go over and unplug it if someone calls or texts me. Yes, I'm lazy.

I've had several cellphone stands.
That black rubber one is worthless. The base is just too small and it rocks. I think it was free.
I bought that purple one at a dollar store in California years ago and actually really like it.
However, when I saw that white one on Amazon for less than $10 for two of them (during their spring sale)... I had to get it because you can charge your phone while it's on the stand.

And the other great thing is that I can even put my iPad on it when we're having a video chat with our daughter in Chicago and son in some other part of the world.
I'm happy. 😁
I love handy gadgets. However I have made the mistake of looking at something and thinking. "Well. Wouldn't that be a handy thing. Only to get it home and discover that it is not handy at all!
ReplyDeleteWe both have stands where we can plug in and recharge, and we both also have stands where you just have to put the phone or watch to recharge: no cord needed.

ReplyDeleteMy cell phone is my lifeline. I have it with me always and if I don't have pockets I will wear it on a lanyard around my neck.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a stand like that! It looks perfect. Since I use a laptop though, I don't know that I would use a stand that much. Hmmm, I must think more about this!

ReplyDeleteI can attest to continual charging being bad for batteries. My wife leaves her phone, ipad and watch on chargers sometimes for days on end when she is busy and they all run out of battery much quicker than my phone and ipad which are the exact same age. It is quite dramatic.
ReplyDeleteI only pick up my phone to check messages or to listen to books on tape, so I have it plugged in to charge and dump it in a bin on my desk. I wish we weren't so tied into the internet, but it makes life so much easier.

ReplyDeleteBlessings, i have a couple, its chrome with green hands and feet. the hands are in the guesture of a hug, love it, have it for more than 20 years, can't find it anywhere. i have one that charges if plugged when i rest the phone so i dont have to hold the phone to talk. and last but not least i have a huge one, i can move it to my level when i am talking on the phone so its totally hands free, when i am not on the phone i put my table on and move in front of me so i dont have to hold up the tablet while i read. i seldom use it for what it was tasks for-which is to take make videos had free. love it, cost me $10 and it can be taller that me if i want to stand and read.
