There was an article in the Star-Advertiser last week about sunscreens. It reported that sunscreen efficacy tests were done at the Honolulu Community College Cosmetic Chemistry class. I've provided the link to the article. The students discovered that even with claims of 50 SPF, none of the sunscreens actually tested more than 8 SPF. I thought that was very surprising if not aggravating, especially for Hawaii where the sun's rays are really strong.
The more you know, the more frustrated you can get!
