Day #14: At Sea

It was good to have this day at sea so that my cousin, Arnold could recuperate.

We went to this towel folding demonstration which was a lot of fun.  I didn't buy the DVD that was offered though.  Then I'd have to buy the right kind of towels and where would I put them?  I decided to stick to origami.

In the evening, we invited Nancy to join us for dinner at one of the specialty restaurants.  The Shogun was supposed to be Asian Fusion.

Ummm... it was OK.

We saw a magic show which was fun and then the crew came out to say farewell since the following day would be our last cruise day.

I was keeping my fingers crossed that Arnold would be recovered.

  1. Those towels are definitely cute. But yes, what would one do with all of them? :-)

  2. Arnold's place at the table does look very empty.

  3. I can't believe how much ground you covered on this trip. BTW: On our last cruise we had towels in swan shapes just like the one you showed.

  4. How awful to pay money only to be confined to quarters. Sure hope he was able to enjoy the rest of the trip.
I love those towels. So cute.

  5. Our Princess cruise didn't do towel art, but they are fun. We dined in the formal dining room every night at the 8:15 seating with a group of eight. The late seating gave us time to get back to the ship and rest up before dinner.
We never did go to any of the shows though.

  7. I took the time yesterday to look up the restaurants on board the Inspiration. Despite the fact that it's one of their older ships, they have upgraded to food spaces to include all the latest stuff. I too hope Arnold is better....

I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.
