I started getting these aggravating SPAM from a neha mumbai escorts few months ago. I kept adding it to my spam comments hoping that would signal Blogger into doing something about it. Nope. I tried doing the word verification which then prevented some people from doing any comments on my blog. So I thought I'd try the Help line.
I clicked on the Help and got this window. So I typed in Spam.
The Help line asked me to send them a link to the offending spam site which I did.
I then got a few more of the spam onto older blog posts but I haven't gotten as many and today, nothing.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Let us know how it works out. I get a lot of spam too -- it's one of the reasons why I use moderation. Different kinds do tend to come in waves. A few years ago it was Japanese porn, then later a bunch of comments in Russian I couldn't make head nor tail of, later there've been other things. Unfortunately the problem is probably never going away. It's a terrible advertising method but it's all bot-generated so it costs the spammer nothing.

ReplyDeleteIt probably speaks to the low volume of my blog, but I don't get much spam. When I do, it doesn't take much to delete it.
ReplyDeleteDo let us know how this goes. I also renewed all of my phones on the Do Not Call list and that has reduced my extraneous calls greatly.

ReplyDeleteI've been getting that same spam. and I've noticed other blogs I read have been getting it too. I mark it as spam but it returns a few posts later.

ReplyDeleteSame here. I keep thinking it should be marked as spam by now since I've deleted it a dozen times. But no, it keeps on showing up. It's very annoying, I agree.

ReplyDeleteI got those Mumbai hooker spams in my comments also. I deleted them from my comment section and labeled them as spam. Seems for now it has worked. Fingers crossed. Good luck.
