My cousin, Ellen texted this photo to us and I asked her if I could post it here. She said she and her husband were driving through Waipahu (here on the island of Oahu) and saw this amazing spectacle. She wished everybody could see it.
She asked her husband to stop the car so she could take the photo.
Very interesting and beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like that before.
ReplyDeleteThat is stunning! I can recall seeing them on the Big Island as a kid!

ReplyDeleteThe northern lights were seen recently in my area. I looked both nights but just saw black. I have seen them in the past. Should it make us realize how really small our world is?
ReplyDeleteSomeone mentioned that what you can't see with the naked eye, you might be able to see if you took a photo of it with your cellphone. I wonder if it's true.
DeleteWow

ReplyDeleteNorthern lights are always different and exciting.
ReplyDelete"Where I live, there are rainbows..." That song always comes to mind when I see rainbows. That is a wonderful photo that your friend took!
ReplyDeleteThat rainbow photo should be enlarged for a wonderful wall hanging! I'd buy it! It's really TALL and spans across so wide. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'd crop that photo from the barbed wire down. Linda
