Day #7: Silverdale, Washington

We’re in Silverdale, Washington.

We arrived yesterday after a ferry ride from Victoria to Port Angeles in Washington.

It was the last day to cross the Hood Canal before it closes for construction for 6 weeks. For this reason, we’d changed our schedule to leave Victoria a day early.

Thank goodness Paul warned us about the canal bridge closing because we would have been in for a very unhappy surprise if we arrived today not knowing that the bridge was closed.

The Olympic Mountains were beautiful! It was another beautiful day in the Northwest.

We arrived at Patty and Paul’s in the late afternoon. After Patty's scrumptious dinner, Paul and Art went to return our rental car at Seatac airport in Seattle.

It's such a beautiful part of our country here!

The Northwest, a region I've never seen. Glad we get to see it through your wide-open eyes now. Have fun.

I really LOVE hearing from you! However, if you sign in as ANONYMOUS, please don't forget to tell me who you are in the comment box by just writing your first name. We would all appreciate it if you kept your comment respectful and kind.

I’m using Comment Moderation for any post that is more than a day old because of aggravating SPAM. Therefore, if your comment does not go up on an older (more than a day old) post, it's because I need to OK it first. I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.
