Blogger Error!

Have any of you (Blogspot users) been getting this message from Blogger when you click onto your website?

When I refresh my page, my blog does come back. Sometimes, I have to refresh my page twice to get my blog back, and it's annoying.

Whatever the case, I just backed up Musings on Wordpress and then made it Private for only my eyes.

Juuust in case.

  1. I don't get that, but frequently lately, I start typing a comment and then I am out of the comment box which is now empty, so I begin again. Backing up is a good idea. I should do it although I do have a copy of most posts in my email.

  2. I have not seen that, but I'll assume it's only a matter of time. Seems as though Blogger always has some fresh hell to dish up lately.

  3. Good idea but I haven't seen that. I try to backup my blog every 3 to 6 months on blogger though.

  4. I think I should learn how to back up my blog. I have seen that message, but rarely. I have more trouble posting comments to other people's posts. Glad to know you keep trying and it gets better.

  6. it's scary with all the viruses for computers, etc going around. i clicked on an email from my computer guru son with a link without checking if it was really from his address-it wasn't now i worry about what i have done. haven't seen anything on your blog but backing up is so important for all our files and photos.

  7. Haven't seen that but who knows what tomorrow brings. I usually wait Blogger out and it usually fixes itself.

  8. I'm hoping this reply will post, most of the replies I post on blogger blogs do not ever show up.

I got this message a few times, but if I went in from another's blog roll, then it was fine. I finally redid the link from your blog to my blog roll and found that your address had changed, just one extra letter, but it had changed. Now I can get in from my blog roll.

  9. Yes, I got a lot of those last week. Couldn't get into my mail either. My provider suggested I clear my history and a disc clean. We did not clear out our cookies.

  10. PS: And my backup blog lost it's server. LOL

  11. I did get the error when I clicked on my sidebar "Musings" link. But I could connect if I clicked on the post's title instead. Since I found a work-around I never bothered to look into fixing my link.

  12. I got it once maybe last week or earlier this week. Exited and tried again and then it worked.

    1. And wouldn't you know I didn't get it today so maybe they fixed it. I hope.

  13. Yes, I am getting this too. Don't sign like it asks. Could be a virus. I just exit or hit refresh.
    Very irritating though!

  15. My built computer is a bit old, but yes, I received the same notice once or twice in the same day, a few times over the last 2 weeks. I didn't do anything but exit out to another site and came back and it let me into your blog. I think it's a spy from Art's old job. Or the Russians seeing how many times your Blog dislikes #45, the village idiot. Oops, did it again. Maybe the Blog wants you and Art to hold hands....tee hee, Linda in Kansas

    1. It's very peculiar. Today, the website has been fine so maybe they fixed the problem since so many people experienced it. Just because of you, Art and I tried holding hands while we walked and decided.... nah... doesn't work for us. LOL We both wear Fitbits and didn't want to give up steps.

Hmmm... the Russians? Now that's interesting.

    2. LOL, what a HOOT! Okay, I'm honored that you tried holding hands. It would be REALLY brazen of you two to try holding hands without the Fitbits. So, what ALL does a Fitbit record? (Old cardiac nurses know exactly what the heart monitors' record....) I would prefer holding hands without a fitbit. Seems a Fitbit should give you both the steps since you're both taking them. Maybe one of you needs to put the Fitbit on the non-held wrist to still gain your points. How competitive can love be?!? It DOES help to walk with both of you stepping on your left foot at the same time, then the right foot at the same time. Cheers, Aloha prevails!, Linda in Kansas (Found a Dole Gold pineapple at Sam's today. Nope, not from Hawaii, but Costa Rica. My daughter-in-law loves it: "Almost too sweet," and I told her about your dislike for being around pineapple and your canning factory days....)

  16. I get this message when I click on other people's blogs sometimes, but so far not on my own.

  17. I never see this error, no. But speaking of Russians, there are times when my blog suddenly gets a huge number of pageviews from Russia. Like 700 in one week. That is several times the number of pageviews from USA, where most of my actual readship is. It's kind of scary.

  18. Oh, yes. Not lately, but it has happened.

I really LOVE hearing from you! However, if you sign in as ANONYMOUS, please don't forget to tell me who you are in the comment box by just writing your first name. We would all appreciate it if you kept your comment respectful and kind.

I’m using Comment Moderation for any post that is more than a day old because of aggravating SPAM. Therefore, if your comment does not go up on an older (more than a day old) post, it's because I need to OK it first. I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.
