The other morning Art went out to get the paper and came in excited saying there was an amazing lightning show outside. We called mom and the three of us stared out the window at the spectacular sky.
We had the worst time trying to capture the lightning bolts.
Taking burst shots didn't help much.
We finally ended up taking videos and hoped to get some shots from the videos that I could use for this post.
Not the best, but it captures a little of the awesome fireworks that nature provided us before the sun came out.

beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteI can get a good idea of the lightning show from your pictures, Kay. Wow! :-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful times together
ReplyDeleteCapturing lightening is lucky. Your shots are beautiful, and the whole display must have been awesome.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots. These do convely the excitement that was in the skies last night. I am also enjoying your latest header. You reminded me that I could go up on top of a nearby mountain and catch a shot that would include the ocean here.
ReplyDeleteNice shots!
ReplyDeleteWow it does look awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou got up that early?!?!! I must have slept through it, beautiful as it was.
ReplyDeleteI think there are lightnings triggers that you can use, but I don't know anything about them. I too have tried to capture lightning and failed.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! What time do you get up, anyway? :)
ReplyDeleteCan you just put your video on the blog?
I hear you! That's what I've done, as well. It's impossible for me to react that quickly!!!!
