Spring and Summer

We have had one of the busiest, most eventful spring and summers we've ever experienced which I will be recording in future posts. It was full of loss, travel, visiting with family and friends, injury, illness and recovery. Hopefully things will now settle down.

In a nutshell:
March-April: We were on a Viking Riverboat Rhine riverboat cruise of Germany, Hungary, Austria and the Netherlands.
May: We flew to Tokyo to attend the funeral of our dear friend, "Sam."
May: I broke my arm the day after our return from Tokyo.
June: Our daughter and family arrived in Hawaii.
June: We went to Tokyo again for 10 days with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. This had been planned a couple of months before by our son-in-law.
July: We left for Illinois, spent one day there and flew out to Maryland with our daughter, Tiffany and granddaughter.
August: Tiffany wrenched her back lifting her baby nephew, Art caught a cold and we flew back to Illinois. Back in Illinois, we visited with long time friends and neighbors for a couple of weeks before going home again.

We're now hoping for a bit of time to recuperate from so much that has happened in the last few months.

And now... what to write about... where to begin...

  11. Thanks for the overview. I knew you were coming and going but I lost track. I hope everyone is recovering.
As for where to begin with posts, Don’t sweat it. Overcome your need for concrete sequential orderliness and pick and choose the good stuff. 😋

    1. You're absolutely right. You know me too well. All the posts I scheduled beforehand is over so now I'm going real time and it's hard since I'm also trying to finish a photobook for my granddaughter. I'll have to just write whatever gets my attention for a while before I do my sequential stuff because I do want to record this crazy summer for my own memory as well. LOL

I really LOVE hearing from you! However, if you sign in as ANONYMOUS, please don't forget to tell me who you are in the comment box by just writing your first name. We would all appreciate it if you kept your comment respectful and kind.

I’m using Comment Moderation for any post that is more than a day old because of aggravating SPAM. Therefore, if your comment does not go up on an older (more than a day old) post, it's because I need to OK it first. I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.
