Many islanders like to walk/jog very early in the morning to avoid the hot Hawaiian sun. Art wakes up at 3:30 for his Saturday jog and is home around the time I wake up after running about 6 miles. At least so he says. His doctor did limit him to 5 miles, but sigh... what can I say?
Anyway, Art often takes photos of interest to send me so I thought I'd share some with you.
He saw this card recently and texted it to me and the kids asking us to use our psychic powers to figure out what was on the other side.
I must brag that I got the number right though I missed the suit.
What do you think it was?
This scene from Pearl Harbor with the full moon was pretty. The $5 bill was surprising. It went straight to his charity bottle that he keeps on his desk.
Ummm....
Somebody really goofed up and drove his car over that embankment. I imagine it's stuck.
That poor black car got splattered with some paint. Ouch!
These cars got their wheels stolen? Or is someone working on them?
Everybody likes to park their cars under trees in Hawaii because of the hot sun. However, this car must have been under the tree much too long.
Piles of garbage?
A forgotten gallon of milk?
And now here comes your answer. Did you guess the right card number and suit?

ReplyDeleteThose are some interesting scenes, all right. No, I had no idea what might be on the other side of that card. I thought I was an early riser at 5:00am! :-)

ReplyDeleteNeat pictures! I guessed Jack of Hearts. So much for my psychic skills.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess Art has to find amusements along the way if he must be out running in the dark at 3:30!!!
ReplyDeleteArt found some junkie stuff on that early morning run.
ReplyDeleteThe horrors of the early morning, like damn Florida, you never know what you see.
ReplyDeleteSome cool pics so early in the morning. Goodness, what time does he go to sleep? Hope he's watching his heart. Seems a bit spooky that early; bet he sees some folks opening up their shops. Linda in Kansas
