While in Illinois last month, my daughter gave me these No-Tie Shoe Laces. She said they were supposedly kids' size but that they fit well on her shoes.
I made the mistake of using the shortest size at the bottom first which didn't feel right. It hurt to take the silicon plug ends out through the little holes.
Art took pity on me and redid the laces using the wider size silicon ties at the top of the card.
OK, so far so good.
I'll have to wear them a while to see just how much I like them. Meanwhile I'm keeping my regular laces, just in case.

Haven't seen those to replace regular ties. How do they work?
ReplyDeleteI must live in a cave, I've never even heard of them! But they look pretty cool, just watched a video about them--they're elastic & you just pop each row in separately. Now I want them :)

ReplyDeleteMy house shoes (old converted tennies) have curled elastic laces that have started to lose their stretch. I will have to look for these when shopping is allowed again.

ReplyDeleteThose laces mean you just slip on the shoes? That would save time. I am always wearing 'mules' out in the yard and then kicking them off when I come back.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try those. I am always stuffing my feet into my sneakers without untying the laces. Don't think it's great for my shoes.

ReplyDeleteInteresting. So, they're individual "clippies", like hair clips? I have some that were in my Propet brand tennies, then I brought the elastic shoelaces which has a toggle to adjust once you've got them in the shoes. Great for my nursing tennies. Linda in Kansas
