Art and I go for early morning walks before the sun rises and we often see things that make us stop and take a second look. This sight catches our eye every time now.
You have to admit that someone with a real sense of humor lives in this house.

I’m using Comment Moderation for any post that is more than a day old because of aggravating SPAM. Therefore, if your comment does not go up on an older (more than a day old) post, it's because I need to OK it first. I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.

Someone on our street did something similar, but they didn't put it back in the garden this year, which I think is a good idea.
ReplyDeleteHahaha!! I don't know what they call it in Hawaii, but on the mainland that's a hillbilly lawn ornament :) Well, the flowers sure are lovely...
ReplyDeleteIn our town, they use the exact same thing as a fundraiser now and then. You wake up in the morning to find a toilet full of flowers in your front lawn prominently displayed. On the backside is a number to contact someone who will for a donation and the name of someone whom you want to gift the thing, transfer it. Fortunately they keep a list so you don't get "gifted" more than once per fundraising cycle.

ReplyDeleteSeems they should put a pot plant in the pot. Not fond of the appearance. In KC, it'd be a residential code violation. Hadn't heard of the fund-raising trick about instant pots on your yard. Does it flush? Yep, it'd look better as DJan suggested with the tank as a planter too. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteWe do live in a neighborhood with no regulating board to watch over what neighbors do. It allows more freedom, but probably doesn't help our home values.

ReplyDeleteI must admit I tried that with an old toilet but everyone in the family told me it was gross so the toilet got dumped. I must be part hill billy.
