The fellow who handles our tai chi communications sent the following "ponderisms" to keep our spirits up and mind active. I thought you might enjoy seeing some of them too.
Why do peanuts float in a regular coke and sink in a diet coke. Go ahead and try it.....
(OK, I tried it. Is Coke Zero not considered Diet? I don't have regular Coke in the house, but well... what's the point?) 🙄
I used to eat a lot of
natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.
How important does a
person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just
murdered?
Why do you have to
"put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your
thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going? (taxes)
Once you're in heaven,
do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?
What disease did cured
ham actually have?
How is it that we put
man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on
luggage?
👶Why is it that people say
they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?
Why are you IN a movie,
but you're ON TV?
Why do people pay to
go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the
ground?
Why do doctors leave
the room while you change??? They're going to see you naked anyway.
Why is "bra"
singular and "panties" plural?
Why do toasters always
have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human
being would eat?
Can a hearse carrying
a corpse drive in the carpool lane?
If the professor on
Gilligan's Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can't he fix a hole in
a boat?
If electricity comes
from electrons, does morality come from morons?
Why do the Alphabet song
and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune?
Why did you just try
singing the two songs above?
Did you ever notice
that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him
for a car ride, he sticks his head out the window?
How did the man who made the first clock know what time it was? 😏
Very clever post!!!
ReplyDeletelol, thanks for an early morning chuckle!
ReplyDeletePerfect way to start my day. Definitely for pondering.
ReplyDeleteOh, that gave me a good chuckle. And a needed one!
ReplyDeleteThis IS funny and I would like to know why I'm wearing a PAIR of underwear, it's not like they're a pair of socks :) Anyway, all good stuff and I'd like to know if Coke Zero tastes like real Coke??
ReplyDeleteDo you know I haven't had a real Coke in such a long time that I don't know. I do like Coke Zero because it doesn't have that metallic taste that Diet Coke does. At least that's what I think. You have to remember though that I've lost my sense of smell and have a limited sense of taste. So I am not a good judge of either. Sigh...
DeleteThanks Kay, and I did forget about you losing your smell and reduced taste, I'm sorry... but thanks for what you could share :)
DeleteI have actually met someone who intentionally burned and ate their morning toast that way.
ReplyDeleteCute ponderings and chuckles for our merry Monday! Thanks, Linda in cold Kansas
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, maybe I will try the diet coke one. Doesn't seem to work.
ReplyDeleteI'll be thinking about these all day long.
ReplyDeleteThese are great. I must send them to a friend who always shares funnies with me.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I've wondered about the distinction between murdered and assassinated. Is assassinated related to politicians only or is it that the person was killed for a specific cause? I've always been confused by the baby one, except that babies do sleep a lot and very deeply. Does sugar make the soda thicker somehow, like syrup? :)
ReplyDeleteGosh! I don't know. I'm actually curious now and wondering if I should go get a regular Diet Coke and see if the peanut will float.
DeleteThose are fun ponderables and worth pondering. I always though when people say they eat like a bird when a bird eats 1/2 its weight a day.
ReplyDeleteI love it! That's a good one!
DeleteThese are really fun!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, Coke zero is really just Diet Coke marketed to men
ReplyDeleteThose are hilarious! I have tears.
ReplyDeleteWonderful. wonderful. Made my day Kay.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I sure needed the laughs.
ReplyDeleteI like every one of your ponderisms.
ReplyDeleteOh, that was fun! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWe see peanuts at your house do not intend to drown, no matter what the liquid.
ReplyDeleteGood ones!
ReplyDeleteFun!
ReplyDeleteWith the Internet and all, I seldom see a joke that's new to me, but several of these, I had never heard.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week.
All the best Jan
