Hi everybody,
Mage of Postcards gave me the "heads up" that it was safe to change my header photo so I did. However, now I don't know how to add the explanation for the photo. I used to be able to do that easily, but now... sigh...
Several people asked me about the header so I thought I'd let you know what it was about today instead of putting it in the comments where people might not know to look.
Art and I go to the Open Market (Farmers Market in Hawaii) every Tuesday. It starts at 6:25 AM. We love seeing our favorite vendors there. In the summer, the sun is already up but in fall and winter, it's a bit dark.
This week, the skies were ablaze and Art wanted to show our kids so he took several photos and I used one of them for my header.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to bring a flashlight to see the vegetables for the next several months. On the other hand, the weather is cooler which I love. 😄
To all our wonderful Veterans, thank you so much for your service to our country.
I loved the new header, mainly for that amazing sunrise. Couldn't figure out the rest though so thank you for the explanation.

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful sunrise. At first I thought it might be one of your running adventures, with water bottle people on the side.
ReplyDeleteI did a jolly laugh at the vision of you finding vegetables with a flashlight. The camping section at your WalMart should have one of those tiny headlights with the strap that goes around your head. They are really bright and sometimes have several settings.

ReplyDeleteWow, year round farmers market. How nice. We've used a CSA for fresh vegetables all spring and summer. That ended last month but now the fall CSA is every other week until Dec 21st. Daughter and I split a full share. We've been eating vegetables I normally wouldn't have purchased. They're good for us!

It is a lovely header. I have to change mine, but November is that time between fallen leaves and pretty white snow! I shall have to find one, though.
