Humor Among Radiologists

I was at Tripler Army Medical Center for a bone density scan and a mammogram during the holidays. While I sat in the waiting room for my appointment I happened to look over the reception desk and  saw their bulletin board.


It made me laugh and I asked them if I could take a photo of it to share. This was during the holiday season and everybody was in a merry mood. This was a day I had three appointments at Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and ENT (vertigo). If any one of those appointments was delayed, I'd be up a creek. But no, everyone worked together to make sure I got everything done. Awesome!

I forgot I had this picture on my phone, but wanted to share it with you.

    A sense of humor is a good thing especially in what can be a stressful environment.

    Those are very clever! I bet that doctors have to focus on humor because of what they deal with in their work.

    It's a real smile-maker to see that these doctors are putting the old saying . . . "Laughter is the best medicine" . . . to good use.

    Those are cute. I like how labs can do stuff. I went to my cochlear implant doc today, and the receptionist had a photo of 10 dog faces, ranging from snarling, angry to a big smile. It read something like, "How is your day like your dog today? Something to thaw our brains out when when come in from the cold. Linda in Kansas

    Waiting rooms can be very nervous, tense places. That little sign added a bit of lightheartedness.
