Art and I are really worried. I just read that Chuck could be cancelled. I usually don't care a whole, whole lot about TV shows but I happen to love Chuck. I enjoy all the characters on this spy spoof series. I thought everybody did, too. I even wrote an e-mail to
nbc.com to voice my support for the show. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. What's your favorite TV show?
The Mynah Truce?There's a few twigs here and there and the mynahs keep stopping by to check out the situation under our eaves. They hop around the roof looking at all the angles and then fly away. You don't suppose they'll come back with a jackhammer, do you? It's been a whole 24 hours. I think Art just might be the victor of Mynah Wars II.
Sure hope the mynahs have surrendered.
ReplyDeleteI am still hoping something can be worked out for the Mynah bird. It would be like being pregnant and you can't go to the hospital. I think she is trying to get the job done before the eggs just plop out. LOL
ReplyDeleteI've never watched Chuck, but now you've got me curious. I don't think I have a favorite t.v. show. There's nothing I have to watch, just a few shows I enjoy.

ReplyDeleteI've watched Chuck, it's pretty cute. I have always found it surprising which shows get cancelled and which keep going. Apparently I don't watch the shows that the ratings people do.
Favorite show...hmmm...I like the show 'House'...I hope Art won the war...
ReplyDeleteI just read that "Chuck" had improved ratings the past week and it was looking "up" for the show. Good for you in voicing your opinion to the network. It seems like the shows I enjoy always get cancelled. My favorite show is "Dancing With The Stars". Don't let the mynahs fool you, I bet they have something up their sleeves and are planning a sneak attack!
ReplyDeleteNever seen Chuck. My faves are Wheel of Fortune, American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. I also watch CNN, the Food Network, and House Hunters.

I've no idea who, or what, Chuck is, but I hope for your sake that they keep it going. You seem to be winning the mynah war, but don't take your eye off the ball too soon!

ReplyDeleteI have seen Chuck and enjoyed it a great deal... however it's been a long, long time since I've seen it available here. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough and I'm part of the reason it's being cancelled. Rats!! I sure HOPE not!!
I understand the plight of the Myhna... I wish we could get the blasted woodpeckers to quit the early morning breakfast habit on our home.
I wouldn't count those birds out yet. I like The View and American Idol.

ReplyDeleteOh, I love CHUCK! It's one of the few shows I really watch every week. I have last weeks recorded, so I have to record tonight, too, while I watch Antique Roadshow. Then I can have a Chuck fest!

ReplyDeleteWould you believe, one of my favorite TV show is "Chuck". Both Gregg and I love watching it. The whole cast of characters is very enjoyable so good grief I will be very unhappy if they cancel the show - it's one of the few that Gregg and I love watching together. Congrats on the Mynah truce :)
ReplyDeleteI used to watch House all the time, too. I still peek in every so often but he's such a cranky, nasty fellow that I find it unpleasant sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that they seemed to be wrapping up the show last night. The finale is next week when we're in Canada. I've got to find somebody who can tape it for me!
