One of my favorite nephews posted this on his Facebook page and I couldn't resist posting it here as well.
I have found that coffee can be a diuretic, but ummmm.... the other end? OK, is this Too Much Information?
I found this article in the Huffington Post which explains it also.
Alright... alright... TMI.

Yes, it can. Boy I sure like my morning coffee tho.
ReplyDeletei won't even attempt to tell you what the few bites of that halloween burger king did to me in this area. i guess it is happening to everyone that eats them. all i can tell you is it was green....florescent green.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks for telling me. Art was contemplating trying it. Florescent??? Good grief!
DeleteI have always known this and learned when I started drinking too much coffee on an empty stomach.
ReplyDeleteMore TMI is if you eat very hot food...you have hot s...! Sorry, just had to share.
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
DeleteI drink only decaf. Don't have that issue. ;)
ReplyDeleteAh, I'm safe!! I've never been a coffee drinker!! Hope you have a beautiful weekend, Kay!!
ReplyDeleteIt's more tea that is a diuretic for me, coffee is fine for some reason. And poop...first I'm hearing this one, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI find this is helpful to know when you're traveling. It's helpful to get all the morning "business" over with before you start out for your day. I'll be sure to have my cup of coffee with caffeine.
DeleteI love drinking coffee. My favourite one is Jacobs the German one
ReplyDeleteCoffee doesn't effect me as such, just greasy stuff like sausage and bacon for breakfast, but maybe that's because of the coffee? I'm really sure that's too much information.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I agree, TMI. :-)
ReplyDeleteTMI it may be but it is also fascinating. Thanks Kay!
ReplyDeleteHow cute and so true. I was in that 23%. I had to give up coffee for heart reasons and believe me herbal caffeine free teas do not have the same effect. I miss my coffee.
ReplyDeleteReally scraping the bowl for this idea, Kay. JUST KIDDING! Interesting

Hey, at a certain age, I think most of us are interested in such things. LOL
ReplyDeleteHA HA ---missed that on Facebook.... For me (and probably most of us), this is TRUE.... I need my coffee in the mornings to get things moving (if you get my drift).... ha ha
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
I never drink coffee, never had a single drop
ReplyDeleteWhen I was recovering from my back surgery and in need of some help pooping, I was informed that coffee should be avoided. That was after I had ordered several lattes in the hospital. But they might have been decaf. I needed help sleeping too. Oh my. How does anyone know what to believe?
ReplyDeleteUh.... I didn't know that
ReplyDeleteWith me all it takes is getting up out of bed in the a.m. I used to be kind of unsympathetic about constipation until I worked in a hospital and learned that for some it's no joke.
