I have recently been having a problem with my iPad not allowing me to access my Blogspot account. It’s the weirdest thing!
I get this screen telling me I need to sign in.
So I click onto Sign In.
It then asks me to choose which account I want to sign in with. So I click on my account and it takes me to...
Okie dokie. I actually hoped to get to my home page, but it took me to my list of posts. So I click on to View blog.
And...
Arrghhh... It tells me to Sign In again.
When I try to reply to anybody’s blog using the iPad, the comment disappears as soon as I click Publish.
Arrrgghhh....
Sigh....
I'd hoped to take my iPad on trips instead of the laptop, but I guess that just won't work anymore. This is so aggravating! (Yes, I looked online for a fix and it looks like this is a common problem.)

Ah, but does the laptop work?
ReplyDeleteThank goodness, yes. I've tested it.
DeleteMaybe take it to the Apple Store and ask them about it. It will be hit or miss - you might find someone there that knows and is willing to look at it, or you might come across someone who says they don't troubleshoot third party issues (i.e. wordpress or blogs). I would take both the laptop and ipad to them.
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking it has something to do with Google IDing you and not Blogger. Google makes people have IDs.
ReplyDeleteI can't comment from iPad either. I gave up trying.
ReplyDeleteMe, too.
DeleteI always do it on my pc, it isn't awesome on mobile.
ReplyDeleteI hear you LOUD and clear, Kay. This tekky stuff is so frustrating, drives me crazy! I also only comment from my laptop, when it isn't "conspiring" against me too.
ReplyDeleteLeaving comments still works on my older ipad but my iphone doesn't allow me to leave comments lately. It used to work.
ReplyDeleteDon't have an iPad so I can't relate. Hope you find a smart soul who can fix it for you.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an iPad either, but I have actually been able to comment on blogs with my iPhone! It's kinda' small, so I have not tried posting with it.
ReplyDeletetry rebooting it...just got a new iphone7 and no instructions on setting it up so...it's going to be intuitive plus evening!
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with my ipad. I thought it was me!
ReplyDeleteI looked it up and saw that it was a pretty common problem since the upgrade in 2018. Sigh...
DeleteYou just made me realize I've never tried it. I always use my laptop because it actually has a keyboard. I'll see what happens when I try. :-)
ReplyDeleteOK here is my attempt to post from my iPad.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Lucky you! Sigh... I see that the iPad needed another update. I wonder if it will fix the problem. Not too hopeful.
DeleteI will have to give it a try. I hadn't realized. I guess I don't comment from my iPad.
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave a comment yesterday but unfortunately I was on my iPad and you guessed it, I couldn't leave a comment. I don't really understand it because sometimes I can leave one but it is a very rare occasion. I can leave comments on my iPhone but the screen is too small for me to see properly and it is difficult. I am back on my laptop and here I am. I was very interested reading this post and the comments left.
