Stuff I Didn't Know #2

Here's a couple more tidbits of stuff I didn't know that my good friend, Myrtle sent me.

It NEVER occurred to us to store peanut butter this way.  We're going to try it next time because it's agony to mix the darn thing.

We sure don't have that flange type plunger in our house.  I thought you used that red one for everything.

It's a good thing our toilet hasn't clogged yet.

Knock on wood.

  1. Two cool tips for different parts of the house. Nope, I didn't know about the plunger differences.
Don't put the peanut butter in the toilet...

  3. Yea! I knew about the two types of plungers. However I do not buy all natural peanut butter because I didn't know how to store it properly. Now I do.

  4. I did know about the peanut butter, but usually forget to do it. I have to admit that I have never given much thought to different types of plungers, so that tip was news to me.

  7. I have always avoided natural peanut butter for that very reason. Thanks, I may try it again now.
Lucky me, I have the right plunger.

  8. I own both types of plungers 'cause ya never know (my landlord says that I'm the only female tenant he's ever had with a well-filled tool box). My mom taught me that there wasn't always around, :)

  9. I knew the flange plunger was better for toilets, it's more expensive too.

  11. I really cannot understand about the peanut butter. How does it make a difference? Wouldn't the oil just pool at which ever end happens to be up?
I knew about the plungers. There were plumbers in the family.

    1. Good point, Olga. I guess you'd have to keep turning the peanut butter over. I'll have to try it and find out.

  14. I used to fight with mixing natural peanut butter, and it never occurred to me to store it upside down. O well, at least I got some exercise.

  17. Tom didn't know about the plungers either. We like "unnatural" peanut butter - hate that oily stuff.
