Spam Call Cure: Hiya App

I have no idea who told me about the Hiya app, but I really like it. I really hate getting those spam calls on my cellphone. The Hiya app will warn me if its a spam caller.

Here's the link.

iTunes stated in its review:
"Best call blocker and caller ID lookup for iOS10. Hiya identifies the important calls you want to take and blocks numbers that you want to avoid."
Google Play said:
"Hiya (formerly Whitepages Caller ID) Call Block Security identifies the calls you want to take and blocks the numbers and texts you want to avoid. Hiya is free (no ads!), and is incredibly easy to use."
Whoever it was that mentioned it on their blog, thank you so much!

  2. hmmm, how does it know? I wouldn't want it blocking any caller NOT a contact. That would be my concern. I just don't answer non-identified calls, then check their number via google, and usually immediately block. Clever idea, this app, though!

  4. good app, thanks! i wish there was one for our business line that is connected to our home phone. So many robocalls and rude salespeople.

  5. I will keep this in mind if we ever get a cell signal here. The good part about no signal is no spam.

  7. That sounds like a good idea. My system now is to not answer the phone if I don't know the number. If the person leaves a voicemail I'll respond.

I really LOVE hearing from you! However, if you sign in as ANONYMOUS, please don't forget to tell me who you are in the comment box by just writing your first name. We would all appreciate it if you kept your comment respectful and kind.

I’m using Comment Moderation for any post that is more than a day old because of aggravating SPAM. Therefore, if your comment does not go up on an older (more than a day old) post, it's because I need to OK it first. I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.
