Dang it! I did it again!
There have been occasions when I'm cleaning the kitchen sink with the bleach cleaner where I've made a hole in my blouse. I'm pretty careful now to wear an apron when working on kitchen clean-up with my bleach spray bottle.
I was cleaning the bathroom this morning while Art was walking with his high school buddy. I normally have Zumba at this time, but our trainer is on vacation. Normally, Art is the bathroom cleaner upper after he gets back from his walks. Is there anyone more sexy than a husband who cleans the bathroom for you.
Anyway, I decided to use the the kitchen bleach cleaner on the bits of mold I was seeing on the plastic shower liner.
My apron was in the kitchen. That's my excuse anyway.
I was wearing one of my favorite L.L. Bean blouses and new shorts.
Arrrghhh! Doggone it!
I sure hope I won't find holes on my shorts when I wash it.
Ah well, holes in pants seem to be the fashion these days anyway.

I have turned many nice things into gardening/painting clothes through the use of bleach over the years. Anymore, I rarely use bleach -- only put in the toilets when I will be gone for long periods of time.

ReplyDeleteI call those my dirt shirts that I use when I have a dirty job. Sadly,I have more dirt shirts than good ones. Keep that shirt for the next time you use that evil Clorox.
ReplyDeleteI thought I had ruined a favorite blouse's collar with bleach the other day, but lo and behold, it was toothpaste that I inadvertently got on the collar from my exuberate use of my electric toothbrush. I was happy to learn what I'd done. Sorry about your pretty top, Kay.
ReplyDeleteI have several work shirts that have bleach marks. I seldom wear anything good when I am at home and cleaning or cooking or whatever. Stuff happens.
ReplyDeleteOuch, hope it doesn't leave white bleached marks. I have a few of those; or pants with an ink pen left in the pocket. Those become my gardening clothes. My bleach marks haven't left a hole though, just bleached out clothing. The thicker splatter-free laundry bleach is pretty nice, but getting the cap-seal off the first time can still spray bleach into the air...and on some clothes. Linda in Kansas
