Like Mother, Like Daughter

I wrote a blog post a while ago about how my granddaughter, KC had way too many stuffed animals and decided to donate most of them to a classroom.

Because she wanted to remember them, KC took their photos listing who gave them to her and what she named them. She even wrote the names showing their personalities.

Well, I was looking through some old photos and came across this.

These were Tiffany's stuffed animals. Yup. KC's mom was also a fan of stuffed animals. Oh my! See that giant Harcourt Brace koala? I won that at a teacher's workshop. No, I didn't have to do anything amazing to get it. They gave the stuffed koala to the teacher who had the closest birthday to the day of the workshop or something like that.

Gee... I wonder if Tif still has that koala. I wonder what she did with all her stuffed animals. I wish she'd done what KC did so she could remember them too.

  1. It strikes me that girls are much more likely to do this than boys, but, of course, this cannot be true since we are now told by the Woke that there is no such thing as gender-based differences. ;)

  2. That reminded me of the scene from the movie E.T. and I was scanning for an extraterrestrial being somewhere in the mix.

  4. Wow! Tiff had quite a collection. My kids both had stuffed animals. Some of them are still in their rooms and some are stuffed into the attic. That's something else I will need permission on before I can clear them out, :-)

  12. Wow! And I thought my kid had a bunch: they fit in a big hammock holder above the corner of his bed. While on a trip to Florida, Eric saved up to go to Dave and Buster's arcade. He won a huge blue gorilla. We could've purchased a plane ticket to get "Grilla" home. It traveled in a box via UPS. He just now donated it when he was around 30 years old! Linda in Kansas
