Driving back into Chicago on the Kennedy Expressway we could see the Sears Tower in the distance. It used to be the tallest building in the world until it was eclipsed by the building in Malaysia.

Ohh--all that traffic-- makes me nervous just looking at the picture! Can't believe how swiftly the days are passing-- slow down!

ReplyDeleteYes, you would not want to eat Night Shade. I do love currants though and looked for jam or jelly today when we went shopping at Wal-Mart and they didn't have it. Shucks. I keep eating the few berries that turn ripe on my two bushes, so I guess I will have o clone some more and maybe have enough berries next year to make some jam or jelly.
ReplyDeleteI also planted two blackberry bushes and they are coming on. But instead of eating them I bought a jar of blackberry jelly today at Wal-Mart and it tastes good to me.

ReplyDeleteThe traffic is light by San Francisco Bay Area standards....the freeway right below us is THE BUSIEST in the 9 Bay Area counties.
ReplyDeleteThat sky has that typical midwestern humid look! "Louis" knows that well - his native Texas Panhandle often has very similar skies...
"Louis" being an early riser, caught San Francisco waking up. Louis attributes the camera shake to (A) it was still early enough that "Louis's" caffeine meter was not yet out of the red zone and (B) the lack of a tripod for a shot like this....
Very nice picture of the city, complete with beautiful sky. I've never seen the Sears tower so this is really neat.
