Friends in Need

When we went to tai chi last week, our friends, the two Cals and Myra had day brighteners for us.
One Cal had a bonsai library book for Art to check out different ideas for citrus bonsai.  The other Cal and Myra had a beautiful orchid to give mom a smile and would you believe special homemade vermicompost for us?  Perfect!

I guess you might laugh to think that compost which is actually dirt might not be what you would think would cheer someone up.  Actually, it really showed what good friends Cal and Myra are in knowing this would indeed make us happy.  The other Cal knew Art would enjoy the citrus bonsai book.  In fact, Art was out this evening once again wiring his lemon tree grove.

Cal and Myra knew we were babying our Satsuma tangerine and parted with a bagful of their precious natural fertilizer for our tree.

And mom?  There was indeed a big smile on her face that friends she hadn't even met yet were kind enough to think of her in her time of sorrow.

I really LOVE hearing from you! However, if you sign in as ANONYMOUS, please don't forget to tell me who you are in the comment box by just writing your first name. We would all appreciate it if you kept your comment respectful and kind.

I’m using Comment Moderation for any post that is more than a day old because of aggravating SPAM. Therefore, if your comment does not go up on an older (more than a day old) post, it's because I need to OK it first. I'm sorry to have to do this, but again... sigh... it's the spam that's driving me crazy.
