Art just told me that I wrote about this before (I guess I did in 2012), but totally forgot about it.
I'd started separating my Pyrex glass containers with paper towels, little napkins, etc. which aren't pretty.
Then I remembered about the coffee filters.
So Istole borrowed some of Art's filters. Nice! I'd have to get bigger filters for the larger containers though.

Guess what, I just learned that it was a woman who invented the coffee filter! Melitta Bentz in 1908! You should think of her every time you see those filters!

ReplyDeleteWhy do I think my Pyrex bowls don't have a problem being stacked? Even the little clack noise doesn't bother me. You separate them because.....? Confused Linda in Kansas

DeleteOk, that's funny. I guess I usually cook with my hearing aids out; one of the rare advantages of a hearing loss. Dripping faucets and clocks ticking too loudly don't bother me either. Quiet in Kansas, Linda (except we're under a tornado watch, not yet a warning.)

ReplyDeleteI try to tell Daisy that there really is no "yours" or "mine" in our house for the most part, unless you count shoes, underwear, most clothes (she likes my shirts), and toothbrushes.
ReplyDeleteShe's the greedier one of the two of us. She uses the word "mine" more often than I do. As long as she doesn't take the last can of soda, or the last little bag of chips before I can restock, it doesn't matter.
