43 Years and Counting!

It's hard to believe that 43 years have gone by since we were married. I thought it was amazing when we reached the 10th anniversary milestone and here we are moving toward the 50th.

It hasn't always been easy. Life gave us times of joy, times of sorrow and times of stress. We tried our best to weather the difficult times as best as we could and savor the good.

We don't celebrate our anniversaries in any truly special way. Sometimes we'll go out to dinner. This year we'll be eating left overs.

We're going to try to take mom to see Star Wars in the afternoon. (Senior rate)

I guess today will be a day like many of the others, but I'm thinking it will be one that is going to be fun.

  4. Happy Anniversary! You both have done well. You celebrate very much like we do - quietly. When we hit 40 we thought we'd want a party but then told the daughters no need. We celebrate 42 in March.

  5. Happy anniversary to two beautiful people. Let me know what you think of the movie. I liked it but I didn't love it. BB-8 was fun, though. :-)

  11. Congratulations to both of you. How marvelous.

Pictures, I thought I would add that many of my earlier, mismarked pictures still exist, and I need to get in there and correct the dates. Perhaps some form of penance. LOL
